'Starting Your Own Business' Seminar at North Regional Library Jan. 11, 2005

hazardous boxAre you planning to start your own business – or have you already started? Are you wondering what kind of business expenses you can deduct on your tax returns? What about your home office, auto expenses, mileage, travel, entertainment and meals? Come to a program at North Regional Library to find answers to these and other business questions.

Certified Public Accountants Art Goudey Jr. and Judith Cantor will present a free program, “Starting Your Own Business: What Is a Business Expense?” on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Goudey, a QuickBooks Pro advisor, provides accounting software installation, training and consulting to startups and small businesses. Cantor was an accountant at a large CPA firm in New York and has worked with small and medium-sized companies in Raleigh and New York. She led a local tech business from startup to sale eight years later.
