Free Depression Screening to be Offered in English and Spanish

Wake County Human Services will host Depression Screening events as part of National Depression Screening Day on Thursday, October 11, 2007. The purpose of this event is to offer free, anonymous screenings for the community and raise awareness of depressive and manic-depressive illnesses and their treatment.

The event is open to anyone who wants to learn more about depressive illnesses and their treatment, including Wake County Human Services clients, staff and those who are concerned about a loved one.

Mental health clinicians will provide screenings for adults and children at the following WCHS and community locations:

FUQUAY-VARINA
Southern Regional Center

10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

RALEIGH
Human Services Swinburne Building

9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
