County, Partners Seek Public Feedback on Future Little River Reservoir

The Wake County Planning Department, along with community partners, is hosting a series of community meetings to answer questions and get feedback from property owners in the vicinity of the Little River Watershed in eastern Wake County. The second of four planned meetings will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, at the Wendell Community Center, located at 601 W. Third St. in Wendell.

The public meetings will address topics such as the permitting process for construction of the reservoir, zoning regulations, land use, recreational use, pollution and erosion control, and the future drinking water supply for a large portion of Wake County. More than 100 people attended the first meeting in Zebulon.
