West Regional Library to Mark Milestone Sept. 16

The public is invited to celebrate West Regional Library's one-year anniversary on Sunday, September 16, 2007, from 2-5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will include cake and party games. There will be children's programs and crafts throughout the afternoon, including a special storytime at 2 p.m. The Wake County Bookmobile will be on hand for tours. Staff members will offer several online library database tutorials. The Cary Fire Department will demonstate its ladder truck, and the Cary Police Department will provide ID kits for kids.
