Public Forum Scheduled Regarding Pilot Program For Instant Runoff Voting In The Town Of Cary

The Wake County Board of Elections is honoring a request by the Town of Cary to move the location of the public forum on Instant Runoff Voting to Cary Town Hall, 316 N. Academy Street, Cary.  The forum will be held in the Council Chambers on Thursday, January 17, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m.

Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to make comments, as well as written comments to be submitted up to 72 hours after the forum. The information learned from this forum will be sent to the State Board of Elections for perusal and report to the General Assembly.
