Emergency Shelter at Enloe Now Closed

Wake County officials have now closed the emergency shelter at Enloe High School, 128 Clarendon Court in Raleigh, after serving nearly 60 people displaced as a result of Wednesday’s flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Alberto. Overnight, 22 individuals stayed at the shelter.
American Red Cross officials will continue to do assessments at Enloe until 2 p.m. today, after which anyone displaced by the flooding is asked to visit the Red Cross Center at 100 N. Peartree Lane in Raleigh or call the local chapter at (919) 231-1602.
