Holly Springs Library and Cultural Center to Open Dec. 9 Following Holly Days Parade

Come join the celebration as the Holly Springs Branch Library opens its doors on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006! The library, located at 300 W. Ballentine St. in Holly Springs, will open in conjunction with the new Holly Springs Cultural Center.
There will be activities and events for the entire family starting at 12:30 p.m., including a balloon artist, musical performances, face painting, storytelling, arts and crafts, and food. Town and local officials will perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
The Grand Opening will follow the annual Holly Days Holiday Parade, which starts at 11 a.m. The library will have a presence in the parade, including a float, the Bookmobile and the Library Book Cart Drill Team. The parade route will end at the library and cultural center.
Located near downtown Holly Springs, the library will be operated by Wake County, while the Town of Holly Springs will operate the cultural center.
