Wake County Hosting Career Fair August 1

Looking for a good place to make a living and make a difference? Come to the Wake County Career Fair, Tuesday, August 1, 2006, from 1-7 p.m., at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center at Gorman Street and Western Blvd. in Raleigh. Wake County Human Resources is sponsoring the fair, which is free and open to the public.

The County is constantly seeking talented individuals to fill a variety of positions, and aims to remain competitive in the marketplace in attracting and retaining highly qualified employees.

Attendees at the fair will be able to learn about job opportunities and speak with hiring managers directly. Departmental staffs will have information booths about their programs and staffing needs. Human Resources staff, who organized the fair, will also be on hand to discuss the application process and provide information on the County's excellent benefits package.
