Hazard Mitigation Plan Review

The Wake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting to receive additional input on the draft Wake County Hazard Mitigation Plan. There will be a review of the findings of the study and the hazard mitigation actions that the County will be undertaking in the next 5 years to reduce community vulnerability to natural hazards.  The Planning Board met Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at 1:30 pm.   The Planning Board will continue their discussion at their Wednesday, September 15, 2004 meeting.

The Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 4, 2004, at 2:00 pm.   Both meetings will be held in Room 700, Wake County Courthouse, 316 Fayetteville Street Mall, Raleigh, NC
