Donate a Dog Bed
12/21/2004
Give the gift of comfort to homeless canines this Christmas by donating a Kuranda dog bed to the Wake County Animal Adoption Center.
Dogs love soft, dry beds, but unfortunately the Adoption Center does not have enough beds for all the homeless canines housed at its facility. You can help by visiting Kuranda.com and following these steps to donate a bed:
- Click on the "Donate a bed" button.
- Select the Wake County Animal Adoption Center as the organization to receive the donated bed(s).
- Choose the bed size you wish to donate (large beds are $49.50, extra large beds $57.50).
The Wake County Animal Care, Control & Adoption Center comprises the Wake County Animal Control Program, in charge of enforcing the Wake County Ordinance and the North Carolina General Statutes that relate to animal control, animal welfare and public health, and the Adoption Center, which rescues more than 9,000 companion animals annually and provides outreach programs to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, to decrease the production of unwanted litters and to educate the community about the proper maintenance of companion animals.
