11/3/2004

Are you planning to start your own business – or have you already started? Are you wondering whether you need to incorporate? Schedule C, LLC, LLP, sub-S, C corp – what does the alphabet soup mean? Come to a program at North Regional Library to find out!

Certified Public Accountants Art Goudey Jr. and Judith Cantor will present a free program, "Starting Your Own Business, Part 2: Should I Incorporate?" on Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Goudey, a retired ship captain, is a QuickBooks Pro advisor who provides accounting software installation, training and consulting to startups and small businesses. Cantor has worked with small and medium-sized companies in Raleigh and New York. Her very popular overview program, "So, You Want to Start Your Own Business?" was presented at the library in March. She is back by popular demand.

The program is free, but registration is requested. To register, or for more information, contact North Regional Library at 870-4000.

North Regional Library is located at 200 Horizon Drive, off Six Forks and Sawmill roads, near the Celebration at Six Forks shopping center in North Raleigh.
