State of Emergency Declared
9/18/2003
Wake County Commissioners Chair Herb Council today declared a state of emergency in Wake County in response to the advance of Hurricane Isabel through the county.
This declaration facilitates cooperation between law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services agencies throughout Wake County. The declaration establishes authority for road closings, curfews and other community protection actions as required.
