Volunteer Awards

Forty-one individuals and nine groups who have provided outstanding volunteer service to the community were recognized at the 18th Annual Wake County Commissioners' Volunteer Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 5.

Of the 41 volunteer nominees, the top 10 identified by a selection committee of seven local professional volunteer administrators were recognized as Wake County Commissioners' Award Winners.  The top five from the group of 10 were identified as Governor's Volunteer Award Winners.
