EOC Activates in Preparation for Winter Weather

Call 9-1-1 In An Emergency

The Wake County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activated to Level Three at 12 p.m. TODAY, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, in preparation for an anticipated winter storm.
A level three activation means that equipment and personnel are responding and the EOC is staffed on a continual basis. This staffing includes a call center that is available to handle non-emergency calls in English and Spanish. The call center phone number is 919-856-7044. People should call 9-1-1 in an emergency.

Wake County recommends that residents stay at home and off the roads. The County anticipates winter weather through Thursday.
