​Are You Ready to Vote This October?

Register, update voter information by Friday for upcoming municipal elections

Are you registered to vote? If you recently moved, have you updated your voter information?

Raleigh and Cary residents have until this Friday, Sept. 13, to ensure their information is current, so they can vote in the Oct. 8 municipal elections.

Residents can check their status and find their polling place by heading to our View My Voter Information page.

Individuals who are registering to vote for the first time or who need to update their voter information will need to complete this one-page Voter Registration Form.

Once completed, the signed form must be submitted, postmarked or timestamped by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, in one of the following ways:

  • Mailing it to Wake County Board of Elections, PO Box 695, Raleigh, NC 27602;
  • Delivering it to the Wake County Board of Elections Office at 1200 N. New Hope Rd. in Raleigh;
  • Printing, signing, scanning or photographing and emailing it to voter@wakegov.com;
  • Faxing it to 919-856-5864; or
  • Registering or updating your information on site at any Wake County Public Library.
