Veterans to Get Priority at November 14 Job Fair
Capital Area Workforce Development Board, in partnership with WRAL, is hosting the Capital Area Career Expo on Thursday, November 14, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the North Carolina State University McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman St., Raleigh. Veterans will receive special tags so that employers can easily recognize them.

"Our goal is to connect job seekers, especially our veterans, with employers currently hiring in this region as well as surrounding areas," said Pat Sturdivant, Executive Director of Capital Area Workforce Development Board.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this free event. Job seekers do not need to register to attend. Participating employers include local and national businesses.

Parking will be available at the McKimmon Center, with access from Gorman Street. Additional parking will be available behind the McKimmon Center on Varsity Drive in the gravel parking lot. Bus service is available on Western Boulevard and Gorman Street.
