Wake County Libraries will take has been taking a look into the 1960s in June with several special events focused on this turbulent decade. The events are free, but registration is required.

Tumultuous Times: Events that Shaped the 1960s
The African-American Experience in the Vietnam War
Retired Technical Sergeant Leonard "Hawk" Hunter will describe his experience in the U.S. Air Force including his first impressions, racism in the military, his assigned missions and the dramatic impact of the Montagnard people on his life.
