The Wake Forest Community Library, 400 E. Holding Ave., Wake Forest, will reopen to the public on Saturday, June 1, 2013. The library will resume its normal business hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on that Saturday.
The library closed last month to undergo a minor renovation, which included new carpet, paint and furnishings. A new floor plan has been incorporated to make using the library easier and more intuitive for library visitors.
The Friends of the Wake Forest Community Library will host a celebration for the library's reopening on Saturday, June 1, 2013. The event will include several activities:
- 10:30 a.m. – Professor Whizzpop magic show
- 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Ebony Child face painters
- 1 p.m. – Fish the Magish storytelling and magic
The Friends of the Wake Forest Community Library will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to talk with visitors about their work in support of the library and about how to get involved.
Normal library business hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
