Experience Abraham Lincoln at Historic Oak View Park
Wake County’s Historic Oak View County Park will host the traveling exhibition “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War” from Friday, April 19, 2013, through Sunday, May 26, 2013.
The exhibit develops a complete understanding of Abraham Lincoln’s presidency and the Civil War through a series of panels and displays. The park will offer self-guided tours starting on Friday, April 19, 2013, and staff-guided tours starting on Monday, April 29, 2013.
Based on an interactive version created by the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia, and the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office, Chicago, this exhibit is made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
For more information or to register for staff-guided tours, call 919-212-7695 or visit the Exhibits page. Historic Oak View County Park is located at 4028 Carya Drive, Raleigh.
