​18th Annual Frog Fest at Crowder District Park

Leap on over to Wake County’s Crowder District Park for the 18th Annual Frog Fest, Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free festival is designed to help people learn about amphibians and reptiles through educational activities, exhibits and entertainment for the entire family.

This year’s Frog Fest will feature:

  • Performances by The Sandbox Family Fun Band and The Kudzu Ramblers 
  • Live reptiles and amphibians at many of the educational exhibits
  • Pond Critters on the Boardwalk
  • Walipog, the Frog Fest mascot and Wake County's very own "Water Quality Frog"
  • Games and crafts with amphibian and reptile themes
  • Local food truck vendors

Crowder District Park is located at 4709 Ten-Ten Road in Apex. There will be free off-site parking, and a shuttle will be available from Middle Creek High School, located at 123 Middle Creek Park Avenue, Apex.
