#Fall4Wake Social Media Photo Contest

Share photos using #Fall4Wake Oct. 24–Nov. 6

Temperatures are dropping, leaves are changing colors, and pumpkins are sitting on the front steps. From parks to trails, and rivers to lakes, fall in Wake County offers the perfect backdrop for a picturesque season.

From Oct. 24–Nov. 6, Wake County is asking residents to share their pictures of fall in the county on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #Fall4Wake. Photos can be of anything that shows the beauty of fall in Wake County and do not have to be taken in a county-operated park or open space.

The top five photos, as chosen by Wake County staff, will be announced on Nov. 9 on the county's social media accounts. Residents will have one week to vote for their favorite #Fall4Wake picture. The winner will be announced on Nov. 17 and will receive a prize from Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space.

Photos must include a location tag to verify they were taken in Wake County. Finalists and the winner will be contacted on social media via direct message from Wake County.
