Wake County Human Services is partnering with The Family Resource Center of Raleigh, Inc., to host the 2013 Fatherhood Conference, Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, 421 S. Salisbury St.
, downtown Raleigh. The purpose of the conference is to encourage fathers and other parenting males to become connected and involved in all aspects of their children’s lives.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers standout and 2009 National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame inductee Rod Woodson
is the featured luncheon keynote speaker.
Attendees will be able to participate in workshops, which include:
Maintaining healthy relationships
Effective money management
Staying involved in your child’s educational progress
