Lake Crabtree to Host Annual Pollinator Festival

Wake County residents are invited to Lake Crabtree County Park for the fourth annual Pollinator Festival on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is being held in conjunction with National Pollinator Week (June 20–26). Pollinator Week recognizes the importance of bees, butterflies, bats, birds and beetles to the international ecosystem.

Park visitors can enjoy games, crafts and other activities to celebrate everything that pollinators do for our community and the rest of the planet. Local experts will be available to answer questions about the pollination process. The event is free and perfect for the entire family.
