'Hop' to Crowder District Park This Weekend for the Annual Frog Fest Festival

Leap on over to Wake County's Crowder District Park this weekend for the 17th Annual Frog Fest. Kids and adults can learn about amphibians and reptiles, and how they survive in the wild. There will be plenty of fun activities for the entire family. The best part, it's free!

The event is on Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crowder District Park, which is located at 4709 Ten-Ten Road in Apex. Off-site parking and shuttles will be available at Middle Creek High School, 123 Middle Creek Park Ave. in Apex.

 Activities:

  • The Sandbox Family Fun Band and The Kudzu Ramblers
  • Live reptiles and amphibians at many of the educational exhibits
  • Pond critters on the boardwalk
  • Walipog, our Frog Fest mascot, and Wake County's very own "Water Quality Frog"
  • Games and crafts focused on amphibians and reptiles
  • Food available for purchase from local truck vendors

For more information, visit Crowder District Park online, or call 919-662-2850.
