Investigating Tracks, Scat and Skulls
Harris Lake County Park
More often than not, wildlife is aware of us long before we see them, if we see them at all. The best way to discover which animals are in your area is to identify their tracks and scat and look for other signs of their presence. NCSU Parks, Recreation and Tourism students will lead this program, offering fun, hands-on activities and learning stations. Watch the website for more specific activities and presentations. This program is free and part of the North Carolina Science Festival. Adults must accompany children ages 5 and up, and all persons attending this program need to be registered through our online system, so register today! Check in at the Loblolly Shelter. Harris Lake County Park is located at 2112 County Park Drive, New Hill.

Saturday, April 23, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
