'#OurWakeCountyParks' Instagram Photo Exhibit Debuts

Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space is excited to announce the opening of the #OurWakeCountyParks Instagram photo exhibit on March 4, 2016, at Historic Oak View County Park.

Storm at Lake CrabtreeWEB.jpgThe exhibit features 34 photographs chosen from hundreds of entries submitted last fall to during a three-month-long contest challenging our visitors to submit the best photos they have taken in one of Wake County's park facilities. The contest was held in conjunction with the @wakegovparks Instagram account, which has over 1,300 followers.

The winning photographs feature beautiful sunsets, gorgeous nature and park visitors enjoying the best that Wake County Parks has to offer. An opening reception will be held on March 4, 2016, from 6–8 p.m. at Historic Oak View County Park. The public is invited to attend. The free exhibit will be on display at Oak View until May 31, 2016.
