Resolve in 2016 to Enjoy Nature at a Wake County Park

Squirrel Spotters
Head out to Lake Crabtree County Park to learn all about our most commonly seen mammal – the grey squirrels that abound at the park. Park staff will answer your questions about squirrel habits, habitats and the perils they face living amongst park-goers. This program is free and open to all ages. Lake Crabtree County Park is located at 1400 Aviation Parkway in Morrisville.

Winter Open House

Habitat is another word for home! Join staff at Blue Jay Point County Park as we celebrate our habitat and all of its parts. This free outing is open to families, scout groups, children and adults. Enjoy games, hikes, activities, crafts, displays and refreshments. More information can be found in the Blue Jay Flyer e-newsletter or on our website. Blue Jay Point County Park is located at 3200 Pleasant Union Church Road in Raleigh.
