Winter Waterfowl Workshop
Lake Crabtree County Park is a birding hotspot and a great place to observe both common and uncommon winter waterfowl. Learn how to identify various species by looking at field markings, behaviors and more. Participants will spend time observing waterfowl on the lake, and we encourage you to dress warmly! This program is free and for adults only. Preregistration is required. Lake Crabtree is located at 1400 Aviation Parkway in Morrisville.

Monday, Dec. 21, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Crafts and More for Kids

Need a few more hours to finish shopping? Bring your kids to Harris Lake County Park for 4 hours of crafting, hiking and games. The crafts your child creates will make great keepsakes or wonderful holiday gifts for family members. Send a lunch, water bottle and holiday spirit. Park staff will provide a snack and all the supplies! This program is for ages 6–12, and the program fee is $16/child. Preregistration is required, and participants should meet at the park office. Harris Lake County Park is located at 2112 County Park Drive in New Hill.
