Leesville Community Library Closed Due To Fire

Leesville Community Library, 5015 Country Trail, in Raleigh, will be closed for an extended period of time due to a fire that occurred in the early morning hours on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

"We have been working with the Raleigh Police Department to investigate what happened at the Leesville library," said Dave Goodwin, Wake County General Services Director. "We have also begun assessing the damage to determine what the next steps may be and when it may be possible to reopen the library."

The fire caused damage in several functional areas of the library. No injuries were reported.

Books can be returned to any other library location. The nearest locations are:

Raleigh, NC 27612

Information about the status of Leesville Library, including reopening plans, will be available on the Libraries website as they become available.
