Wake County’s 4-H Youth Development program is hosting its annual Sleep-Away Summer Camp from Sunday, June 30, through Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Center, 100 N. Clover Way, Columbia, N.C. The camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12. The cost is $460 and includes:
- Transportation to and from the camp
- All meals
- $15 camp store credit
- Camp T-shirt.
The last day to enroll in the camp is Thursday, January 31, 2013. A three-part payment arrangement is available.
The Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Center faces Bulls Bay and the Albemarle Sound and includes woodlands, meadows, forests, wetlands, creeks and rivers. Highly trained 4-H professionals, recent college graduates and students staff the camp program, providing 24-hour supervision.
