Busy Beavers and Night Tales at Wake Parks in February

Trail Treks: Busy Beavers

Learn about beavers' unique adaptations through our popular "Build a Beaver" program and hike to look for evidence of them along the trail. This program is for all ages. Meet at the New Hill Parking Area. The American Tobacco Trail is located at 1309 New Hill-Olive Chapel Road, Apex.

Yates by Night: Night Tales

Gather round a brazier fire on the back deck of the Historic Yates Mill Park center on "Tell A Fairy Tale Day" to hear some tall tales and local legends. Share a few stories of your own while roasting s'mores in the great outdoors. For ages 6 & up. Registration is required. Historic Yates Mill County Park is located at 4620 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh.
