Annual Book Sale Dec. 11–14 at State Fairgrounds

The Book Sale and Festival of Reading hosted by Wake County Public Libraries will be held December 11–14, 2014, in the Jim Graham Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, Raleigh.

The annual event will feature more than 350,000 books for sale. Free parking will be available throughout the fairgrounds. Saturday, December 13, will feature family-friendly activities with entertainment and crafts to make the day festive and exciting for children.

Hours of operation and prices are as follows:

Friday, December 12, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Hardback: $4
Paperback, children's books and CDs: $2
Saturday, December 13, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Hardback: $2
Paperback, children's books and CDs: $1
Sunday, December 14, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Box of books: $5
Bag of books: $2

All the funds generated from the book sale return to Wake County's General Fund, which funds a variety of services offered in Wake County agencies, schools and public libraries. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted for payment. Boxes will be provided.
