Celebrate Agricultural History at Wake's Heritage Day
Historic Oak View County Park invites the public to celebrate Wake's rich agricultural history at Heritage Day on Saturday, October 4, 2014, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park is located at 4028 Carya Drive, Raleigh.

This old time county fair-like event is a celebration featuring activities for all ages including:

  • Antique farm equipment and car displays
  • Heritage crafts
  • Live music
  • Live animals
  • Historical re-enactors and more.

Handmade craft items will be on sale throughout the park and a display of quilts will be auctioned off during a live auction at 2 p.m. benefitting The Capital Quilters Guild and The Center for Volunteer Caregiving.
