Take A Child Outside (TACO) Week
Wake Parks participates in Take A Child Outside (TACO) Week each year by offering free outdoor programs at the different parks. Developed by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the goal of TACO Week is to help children understand and appreciate the environment in which they live. There are no program fees, but many programs require registration. View the full list of programs.
