Capital Area Workforce Opens New Career Center

The Capital Area Workforce Development Board opened its new Wake County workforce development office, NCWORKS Career Center, located at 1830 B Tillery Place, Raleigh, Monday, August 4. The career center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Customers will continue to have access to the same workforce services, including:

  • Free Internet
  • Employment Planning 
  • Career Assessment & Counseling
  • On-site & Virtual Workshops
  • Computer / Internet Access
  • Phone, Fax & Copy
  • Community Resource Referrals
  • Job Matching
  • Career Fairs & Hiring Events

"We are excited to open the doors to the new NCWorks Career Center," said Pat Sturdivant, executive director of the Capital Area Workforce Development Board. "Our integrated teams will continue to focus on customer service and maintain their priority of connecting talent to employers."
