At its regular meeting Monday, February 17, 2014, the Wake County Board of Commissioners recognized two recent awards won by the County:
Triangle Business Journal: Real Estate Award
The Justice Center was the Top State/County/Municipal Project in the Triangle Business Journal's Real Estate Awards. The awards honor top commercial, residential and public real estate projects and deals. There were more than 150 nominations. The Justice Center, which had its grand opening on July 1, 2013, has won several local and national awards.
Triangle Business Journal: Healthiest Employers Award
Wake County was named the 22nd healthiest employer by Triangle Business Journal during its third annual Healthiest Employer of the Triangle recognition. The awards recognize companies and nonprofit entities that commit to making wellness a priority while proactively shaping the health of their employees. The County has made conscious efforts to improve employee wellness the past several years.
