Registration Open for Wake 4-H Summer Sleep-Away Camp
Wake County’s 4-H Youth Development program is partnering with the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center to host its annual Sleep-Away Summer Camp, from Sunday, June 22, through Friday, June 27, 2014. All programs will take place at the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Educational Center, 804 Cedar Lane, Reidsville, NC.

Attending 4-H camp offers youth the chance to enhance interpersonal skills, ecological knowledge and personal leadership. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association and is open to boys and girls for the following three programs:
Age Group

Camp space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with enrollment ending on Monday, March 31, 2014. All programs include the following:
  • Transportation to and from the camp
  • All meals and lodging
  • $15 camp store credit
  • Wake 4-H Camp T-shirt
You can also help children ages 5–17 living in difficult circumstances to attend summer camp through the Send a Kid to Camp program. These children may be disabled, living in foster care, or from a family unable to afford camp. To donate or to find out more go to the Triangle Community Foundation's 'Send a Kid to Camp' page.
