Wake County residents are invited to recycle their holiday trees with the Happy Trails Holiday Tree Recycling Program, from Thursday, December 26, 2013, through Sunday, January 19, 2014, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Trees collected through designated Wake County Convenience Centers and select county parks will be chipped and used to mulch park trails. Holiday trees must be undecorated to be accepted.
