Wake County Human Services participated in a presentation Tuesday, August 27, 2013, for a health delegation from Taiwan, to demonstrate the effectiveness of an integrated system for delivery of services.
"We believe that our Human Services model is the most effective way to deliver services to the people of Wake," said Wake Human Services Director Ramon Rojano. "We are honored to share what we do with other government organizations."
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services hosted the delegation, made up of ranking leaders in medicine, pharmaceuticals, insurance and epidemiology. Rojano and Wake Human Services led the presentation. Director for Administration Regina Petteway and Director of Clinical Services Ida Dawson also attended and represented the County.
