'Keep on Reading This Summer' in July at Libraries
Wake Libraries encourages people to continue their summer reading in July at the regional libraries with several reading programs. Visit wakegov.com/libraries/events and enter the event title in the search box on the left side of the screen for specific information. All programs are free, but registration is required.

Book Bites
Librarians will lead group book discussions featuring books written for teens that appeal to adults, and vice-versa. A snack is included, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own reading suggestions and join the casual conversation.

GoodReads: Finding and Keeping Track of Books
Librarians with Wake County Public Libraries will be exploring GoodReads.com with one-on-one tutorial support. GoodReads.com is a website where the reader can identify what to read, maintain a list of personal favorites and share lists with others. Librarians will be on hand for the drop-in sessions to demonstrate the use of the website and offer tips in finding new avenues for the reading and enjoyment of books.

There's a Book for That: Summer Entertaining and Home Décor
Librarians will help individuals find just the right book for making the perfect appetizer, grilling amazing burgers and decorating the home for summer fun. These drop-in hour-long sessions will offer one-on-one book recommendations to make the summer more enjoyable. Adult library members are invited to come gather free tips and reading suggestions.
