Celebrate America with Libraries
Wake County Libraries will celebrate our nation's history with special programs highlighting American music and artwork in July. All programs are free. Visit wakegov.com/libraries/events for more information.

Music Celebrating America
Several local musicians will perform programs in the summer, and the America's Music exhibit will come to the North Regional Library in September. Matt Poore, Larry King, Laura Ridgeway and the Triangle String Band will play an eclectic mix of American favorites.

Meet the Artisans: Needle Art in America
Libraries will offer an exploration of needlework artwork. Embroidery and needlepoint are included in this discussion of thread-based art techniques. Members of the American Needlepoint Guild and the Embroiderers' Guild of America will lead the discussions for adult library members, aged 16 and older. Registration is required.
