NEWS: Filing for Fall 2009 Elections to Begin July 6

Filing for public office candidates for the October and November 2009 municipal elections will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009, at the Wake County Board of Elections, 337 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh.

Candidates interested in seeking public office for the City of Raleigh, Town of Cary, Board of Education and all municipalities within Wake County must file their notices in advance of the filing deadline of 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009.

Regular hours for the Board of Elections are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
