FEATURE: Wake County Government Delays and Closings for Tuesday, January 20, 2009

The following Wake County Divisions and Departments will open late or be closed TODAY, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 due to winter weather. Citizens are advised to stay off the roads and call before visiting any County facility, even if they have an appointment scheduled.

· Parks, all locations -- Closed
· Register of Deeds -- Closed
· Health Clinics -- Closing at 4 p.m.
· Animal Care, Control and Adoption Center -- Closing at 1 p.m., Open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday

Solid Waste
· South Wake Landfill -- Closing at 1 p.m., Open at 10 a.m. Wednesday
· Convenience Centers -- Closing at 1 p.m., Open at 10 a.m. Wednesday
· North Wake and South Wake Multi Material Recycling Facilities -- Closing at 1 p.m., Open at 10 a.m. Wednesday
· East Wake Transfer Station -- Closing at 1 p.m., Open at 10 a.m. Wednesday

Libraries
· Bookmobile All Stops -- Canceled
· Cameron Village Regional Library -- Closed
· Duraleigh Branch Library -- Closed
· East Regional Library -- Closed
· Eva Perry Regional Library -- Closed
· Electronic Information Center -- Closed
· Green Road Library -- Closing at 5 p.m.
· Holly Springs Library -- 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
· Olivia Raney Library -- Closed
· Richard B. Harrison Library -- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Southeast Regional Library -- Closing at 4 p.m.
· Wake Forest Branch Library -- Closed
· West Regional Library -- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
