Homeschool students ages 7 to 10 are invited to join a book club designed specifically for them at Southeast Regional Library. The group meets every other Monday through April 21. Tuesday, April 8, 6:30-7:30 p.m. – Tell Me A Story
This Parenting Counts Workshop teaches parents and caregivers of children 0 to 5 years old about enhancing emergent and early literacy through storytelling and sharing family stories. Childcare is available for ages 3-8. Preregistration for the workshop and childcare are required. This workshop is offered through a partnership between the East Regional Library and the Eastern Regional Ready to Learn Center [DCD Daycare credit (1.0) available]. Dig in to vermicomposting, composting with worms, by taking part in a class at the Cameron Village Regional Library. The program, presented by Bianca Howard, City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Division, will offer tips for the novice and serious gardener alike. No equipment is needed.
