FEATURE: Wake's Harris Lake County Park Closed July 12

Wake County’s Harris Lake County Park will be closed to the general public on Sunday, July 12, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Triangle Triathlon. The park will reopen to the public at 2 p.m.

Friends and family of the Triathlon’s estimated 1,100 competitors will be directed to parking areas and transported to the park by bus. The event includes a 750-meter swim, 17.5-mile bike ride and a 5K run.
