Library to Offer Workshops on Water Conservation

With spring just around the corner, many gardeners are trying to enjoy nature's beauty, while coping with the lingering drought. Citizens are invited to take part in workshops aimed at dealing with the drought Wednesday, March 19, 2008, and Wednesday March 26, 2008, at 7 p.m., at Cameron Village Regional Library, 1930 Clark Ave., Raleigh.
On Wednesday, March 19, Carl Matyac of the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service will give tips on making your landscapes water-wise. On Wednesday, March 26, Matyac will teach citizens how to maximize turf and ground cover performance.
