Wake Asks Your Opinion on Eating Out

1/11/2008

Wake County would like your input to help improve the County’s food safety inspection program. Environmental health specialists, also known as health inspectors, regularly inspect restaurants, delis, grocery stores, food stands, caterers, hotels, and other food service facilities to ensure that safe food handling practices are in place to minimize the risk of a food-borne illness or outbreak.

Anyone who eats food prepared at a food service facility in Wake County is encouraged to complete the survey online at www.wakegov.com/foodsafety/survey.

Survey information provided by the public will be used to help define priorities for the Wake County food safety inspection program. The survey closes at midnight on Monday, January 21, 2008.
