NEWS: Notice of Selection of Sample Audit for November 3, 2009 Municipal, School Board Elections Audit Count

By direction of the State Board of Elections, the random selection of county sample audit counts for the Tuesday November 3, 2009 Municipal/School Boards elections will be made at 8:30 am on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the office of the General Counsel of the State Board of Elections at 441 N. Harrington Street, Raleigh, N.C. 27603. For further information on this matter, please call General Counsel Don Wright at (919) 715-5333.

The November 3, 2009, elections of the municipalities/school boards will be subject to this random selection of units for subsequent sample audit counts which must be completed prior to canvass.

The Wake County Board of Elections will meet at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009, to conduct the sample audit count and any other business to come before the Board.
