Public Records Requests
The Wake County Public Affairs Office now accepts public records requests online. The automated system contacts members of the PAO staff as soon as an online form is completed and provides a confirmation e-mail to the submitter. This streamlines the request process for members of the media, citizens and staff.

Property and Tax Records
Property and tax information is managed by the Wake County Revenue Department. Information can be accessed through the Wake County website. Click on "Tax, Property & Maps" and then follow the "Search Real Estate" link. You can search using an address or name.

The Wake County Public Affairs Office will respond to after-hours and holiday media calls via a pager system.
