Covering 680 acres in southwestern Wake County, Harris Lake County Park is the largest in the Wake County Parks and Recreation system. Facilities for this site are being paid for with funding provided by the 1993 bond referendum. Future phases may include areas for historical interpretation areas, an overnight lodge, a park center and many trails.

Park Hours: 8 a.m. to sunset, seven days a week.
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Directions: From US 1, take the New Hill exit. Take a left on New Hill-Holleman Road. Go approximately three miles, and the entrance to Harris Lake County Park will be on the right.
